It is difficult to appreciate the scale of this unique custom chandelier in the lavish surroundings of The Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai.

The centre globe itself has a diameter of 700mm and with 120 intertwining chrome arms, each dressed with crystal, it reaches a total diameter of 2.5m.

It is another fine example of the effective use of crystal in contemporary designs.
